In King Creek today, despite lots of fresh snow the conditions were feeling
very Spring-like. The trail in is well-packed but the creek is rising and in several key spots the crossings are not long for this world. The sun is now coming most of the way down into the canyon (though not yet onto the climbs) and by mid-morning there was lots of sloughing off the steep features above the climbs. The routes are currently all still in fair shape - though heavily travelled - but had plenty of running water by day's end with noticeable thinning/erosion just over the course of the day today. Many new wet sluffs in all the gullies on the way out, though nothing substantive.
Still a workable venue right now, but if the forecast holds, I wouldn't bet on for how much longer.
